Intern wanted

We are looking for a intern, ideally graduate or near graduation to help with some short (1-3 week) and medium-term (4-8 week) projects. Interns could work mainly from home or from our Bath office. Would suit business, engineering or science backgrounds. Salary around the £1000/month depending on experience and background. Projects include:

  1. Surveying university alumni for their reaction to courses, this will involve writing a report and designing simple questionnaire to engage responses.
  2. Preparing qualitative and quantitative data for risk analysis and helping with interpretation where appropriate.
  3. Updating our web page with a new structure and case studies, also researching for content and helping promote the site.
  4. Providing support for our new culture mapping tool and working with Dr Lewis on new versions and marketing material.

Person Specification:

  • We are looking for someone smart, confident and creative.  Also in an ideal world, someone with  bit of energy and fun too.
  • Excellent time management skills with a sense of self management, organisational abilities and timeliness will be key to this role.
  • Good telephone manner. We need someone confident enough to pick up the phone and call alumni without agonising over what exactly they should say.
  • A good grasp of written English. There will be some report writing, researching on-line and summarising material,  firing off initial emails, simple survey preparation and one-page descriptions.
  • A good grasp of web design and latest IT trends would be required for some of the projects.
